Corine

was born on the island of Mauritius and lived and worked in South Africa, Europe and the USA, before settling in St Martin many moons ago! A business background in Interior Design and International Relations together with crewing experience on luxury yachts gave Corine the ideal background to set up Marine Time with husband Stephane. A keen sportswoman, Corine plays a key role in the shore based crew, but when on board she mixes a mean cocktail and doesn't need much encouragement to launch into a Salsa or aerobics routine.

The Company

Marine Time EURL (Stephane and Corine as shareholders) was founded in 1994 as a yacht charter & service company. Working in collaboration with the tourist office and main island hotels, Marine Time quickly became the "excursion specialists", developing what many consider to be the ideal day charter boat.

In collaboration with a French yacht designer (Joubert-Nivelt) and a French boatyard (Fountain-Pajot), the first of the Scoobi ‘big cats', ScoobidOO, was designed and built in 1997.
The second catamaran ScoobiTOO, with some improvements, including the well-loved waterslide, followed in 2004.
The luxury 60ft ScoobiFREE joined the fleet in 2007, and the motor catamaran ScoobiCAT, built here in St Martin, was launched in 2008.
