Philippe

bought his first sailboat in 1979. He has traveled widely and has extensive sailing experience. 1993 saw him crossing the Atlantic with his family and he has been ‘settled' (as much as a sailor is ever settled!) in St Martin and the surrounding area since 1997. A family man with a background as a navy diver, Philippe has spent much of his life at sea and knows the waters around St Martin better than the back of his hand!

The Company

Marine Time EURL (Stephane and Corine as shareholders) was founded in 1994 as a yacht charter & service company. Working in collaboration with the tourist office and main island hotels, Marine Time quickly became the "excursion specialists", developing what many consider to be the ideal day charter boat.

In collaboration with a French yacht designer (Joubert-Nivelt) and a French boatyard (Fountain-Pajot), the first of the Scoobi ‘big cats', ScoobidOO, was designed and built in 1997.
The second catamaran ScoobiTOO, with some improvements, including the well-loved waterslide, followed in 2004.
The luxury 60ft ScoobiFREE joined the fleet in 2007, and the motor catamaran ScoobiCAT, built here in St Martin, was launched in 2008.
